Well, it took less than five years to fill the tiny little 30 x 48 foot space to bursting.
This picture on the left was taken by a customer in January 2004 who was entering the greenhouse and shows all the bench work built to hold my swelling collection and sale plants during the intervening years. I *will* draw your attention to the 5 year old bench work and florescent light fixtures again in another half decade: tropical environment, aging wood, electric shop lights and lots of water… Foreshadowing.
The picture below was taken about that same time but looks north toward the entrance. It was January 2004 when I decided to take another big leap and expand the greenhouse to twice its current size.
