In August of 2008, I acquired a large number of smaller species orchids for a growing base of miniature orchid fans and a surprisingly large ‘dart-frog’ community in the area. They like little orchids. And it turns out little orchids are a lot of fun. I still have many large showy flowering plants available and new ones are always coming in from far flung locations. My Phal species breeding program is also still producing some very nice results.
If you are in the area you welcome to visit the greenhouse anytime during the regular hours posted on this website. The mail order catalog is back and more orchids are finding their way onto it as I get time to photograph them and write descriptions. It remains true, however, that I have many more orchids available to walk-in customers than I will ever have time to list for the online catalog. Please come visit.
Well, now we arrive back to the present moment, (at the time of this writing) December 31 2008. The greenhouse is again filling up very quickly with new plants, (so what else is new?) And thus ends my erstwhile “About us” page update.
So, until fate drops another shoe (or even a tree on my orchid greenhouse), happy orchid growing! And all my best wishes for a good year! Thank you for reading all 7 pages.
