You are reading the "Dendrobium Species" category of my online catalog. Click on an underlined link to see a larger picture, additional pictures, or to read more information if it is available. Please remember that offspring from hybrid matings will be unique and sometimes very different from each other and the individual pictures used to represent the cross. Species grown from seed will show more uniformity (they are species after all) but each plant will still be unique.
DPE1220 Den. aggregatum
The parents of this offering are (‘majus’ x self). Blooms in the spring after a coolish dry winter. Likes a lot of water the rest of the year.

DPE1689 Den. bracteosum
An easy to grow dendrobium species. I grow them in bright Phal light and they do not need a rest period. Flowers are long lasting and the color is variable. People tell me these are fragrant, but not to my nose.
5″ pot………….$30.00
DPE2007 Den. antennatum
These are study plants with succulent shiny leaves and the blooms last for months. People who are buying them tell me the powdery sweet smell is beautiful and this is what attracted them to the spot on the bench where they are growing. I agree they smell but I don’t think I can honestly characterize the fragrance as powdery, sweet or beautiful. It is potent. But what does my nose know?
