Beautiful Orchid plants in flower
Available all year around
Hello, First I would like to say I love your website. As I sit here we are having another snow storm(I am in Northeastern Ohio). Just when I thought it was safe to order orchids again . I have only been growing orchids for about a year and am interested in the near future in ordering from you. You have three Phals I am considering, but would like to make sure they are appropriate for windowseal growing and my abiliity level. The first is Phal. Pulchra “Leesburg”, second Phal. Bette’s Miranda and last Phal. Memoria Herman Sweet. Any help would be GREATLY appericated. Also the tour and pictures of your greenhouse are fantastic. Thank you in advance, Paula Fekety
It is snowing here again today too. They say 2 more feet by tomorrow.
All three of the plants you listed are on the catalog at the time of this reply. All three will be compact plants and good for a bright, but not sunny, windowsill. DPE0933 Phal. Bette’s Miranda and DPE1279 Phal. Memoria Herman Sweet will produce compact flower spikes when compared with DPE0477 Phal. pulchra ‘Leesburg’. P. pulchra tends to produce very long wandering flower spikes that produce short spurs from which grow small plants that will themselves produce short spikes with a few flowers. Kind of an oddity in this regard.
(If somebody comes across this reply in the years to come and searches my catalog for the listed names or numbers and do not find them, it is because they have since sold out and been removed.)
