Terms of Sale: For Check or Money Order Customers: The confirmation I email you will hold your choices for one week pending the arrival of payment. Please make the check or money order payable to Al's Orchid Greenhouse and mail to the address above. Payment must be made prior to shipment.   Please do not send cash through the mail.  In some cases I  may decide to hold orders until checks clear.  Checks must be preprinted with your name.  Starter checks and second party checks will be returned. We reserve the right to hold an order until the check clears.  We reserve the right to refuse an order.  A $27.00 charge will be assessed for returned checks.  For Credit Card Customers:  Weather permitting, credit card orders will be shipped the next Monday or Tuesday.  Visa and MasterCard only, please.  By purchasing with a credit card you agree to the return policy and procedures which are described in the guarantee. We will not charge your card until the day we pack your order. Holding Flasks:  Flasks which are not ready for shipping when ordered do not require a deposit.  However, if I have held flasks for you in the past and you have failed to follow through on the purchase, for whatever reason, I will require a 50% non-refundable deposit, as outlined above, if you ask me to hold flasks again. Gift plants are returnable for store credit only. Export: We do NOT export plants to locations outside the contiguous United States.  We do not ship to Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico. Privacy Statement: If we have an email address, we will send an email on the day the plants are mailed so you can be looking for them.  We do not send out any unsolicited mailings.  We do not sell or give away email addresses or any other customer information. Period. Toll Free Number:  The toll free number has been discontinued.  Please use the regular business number, 703-771-7753, to reach us during the hours of 8 am to 10 PM EST.  (The toll free number 1-888-878-0600, is printed on the back of our old plant tags along with the URL to our website.  This number was very similar to the toll free number of a national cable TV customer service number and wrong numbers and hang ups were becoming very expensive.) This catalog cancels all previous listings. All offerings are subject to availability and prices are subject to change without notice. In the event a plant is sold out we will contact you for instructions and offer alternative choices or a refund if you wish. There is no minimum order. Virginia residents add 4.5% sales tax.
